Green Tea Matcha Buttercream

Cupcake with Matcha Buttercream Icing

INGREDIENTS

  • 40G Bodacious Green Tea Matcha Blend
  • 1 Large Mango – fresh or frozen
  • 2 Frozen Bananas
  • 2 Handfuls of Baby Spinach
  • 1 cup Coconut Milk​

​METHOD

  1. Combine powdered sugar and matcha and whisk together.
  2. In a bowl of a stand mixer beat the butter until light and fluffy. Add the sugar-matcha mixture 1/2 cup at a time, until fully incorporated. Add the milk, 1 tablespoon at a time, scraping the sides of the bowl after each addition. Continue to beat the buttercream until light and fluffy.
  3. Use on cakes, cupcakes or biscuits of your choosing.

Green Tea Matcha Cookies

Best Green Tea Matcha Cookies

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup Bodacious Green Tea Matcha Blend
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened

 

METHOD

  1. Add flour and Bodacious matcha green tea blend to a medium sized mixing bowl. Mix together with a rubber spatula and set aside.
  2. Add butter and brown sugar to a large mixing bowl. Cream butter with an electric hand mixer, until fluffy.
  3. In three batches, add the flour mixture to the creamed butter and sugar mixture.
  4. Heat oven to 175 degrees Celsius. Roll out the dough into 5 mm thickness, then cut into your choice of shapes. Place the cut-outs onto a baking paper lined tray.
  5. Bake the cookies for 9 to 10 minutes, watching carefully because the baking time will depend on the thickness of your cookies.
  6. When the cookies are done, place the baking paper with the cookies on a cooling rack. Allow the cookies to fully cool before adding any sort of icing.​

Green Tea Matcha Latte

Green Tea Matcha Creamy Latte

INGREDIENTS

  • 20g Bodacious Green Tea Matcha Blend
  • 200ml textured milk​

METHOD

  1. Place the powder in a glass. Pour 20ml of hot water over it and mix until smooth paste has formed.
  2. Fill the remainder of the cup up with textured milk.
  3. Enjoy!

OR Place 20g powder into a milk jug, add 200ml milk and froth well with steam wand.

Green Tea Matcha Smoothie

Best Green Tea Matcha Smoothie

INGREDIENTS

  • 30G Bodacious Green Tea Matcha Blend
  • 1 Large Mango – fresh or frozen
  • 2 Frozen Bananas
  • 2 Handfuls of Baby Spinach
  • 1 cup Coconut Milk​

​METHOD

  1. Add the coconut milk to your blender, followed by Bodacious Green Tea Matcha powder and spinach. Blend.
  2. Add the mango and frozen bananas and blend until creamy and smooth.
  3. Drink and enjoy!
